Attorney Mahsa Mohkamkar is a dedicated advocate for immigrants and their families, with over six years of exclusive experience in immigration law. As a firsthand immigrant herself, her journey into this field was inspired by her passion for learning about different cultures and her personal understanding of the challenges immigrants face. This unique perspective fuels her unwavering commitment to helping individuals and families achieve their American dreams.
Mahsa provides comprehensive support to clients navigating all aspects of the U.S. immigration system. From initial consultations to representation at USCIS interviews and immigration court proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), she is with her clients every step of the way. Her expertise spans family-based immigration matters such as spouse petitions, fiancé(e) visas, step-parent petitions, and international adoptions. She also has extensive experience assisting survivors of domestic violence through VAWA petitions and T visas (for victims of labor trafficking, sex trafficking, and domestic trafficking), as well as helping children seeking protection under Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) status and individuals pursuing asylum. Additionally, Mahsa represents clients in I-751 petitions to remove conditions on residence and provides skilled representation during USCIS interviews. She is also highly experienced in responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), ensuring her clients’ cases are handled with care and precision.
Mahsa has successfully represented clients from a wide range of backgrounds and regions across the globe, including Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, before both USCIS and EOIR. Among her notable achievements, she successfully argued on behalf of a client whom USCIS had deemed inadmissible under the terrorist bar, securing their ability to remain in the United States. She also helped a client who was erroneously registered to vote achieve U.S. citizenship and successfully represented a client with a 30-year-old felony conviction to keep their green card and later secure citizenship.

Inspired by her work with clients, she began learning Spanish and continues to improve her skills. Her first Spanish phrase, “más o menos,” sparked her interest.
